The Evite...

I sent out my first evite tonight. I am so nervous! No matter how confident I am in life with most things, certain things have me feeling like a little insecure 1st grader. Take today, I have planned a really cool (or so I think) party idea for my 30th birthday, however, all I keep thinking is: will people respond, will they show up, will they be interested, is my invitation grammatically correct???? My girlfriend is telling me to calm down and it's a cute idea, yadda, yadda, yadda. I guess no matter how 'fly', grown and sexy you are, there is still a little girl hiding inside. She only comes out when I feel the most vulnerable, or maybe she's what makes me vulnerable. Either way this feeling sucks!!! I will stay positive. I will have a great turnout. People will find the evite clever and cool. Breath in, breath out.
